Emily Finan lives in the suburbs of Detroit. She completed her degree in studio art and K-12 art education at Oakland University in 2013 and is currently teaching in Hamtramck.
She believes in the power of art to transform a community and enable it to communicate in a unique and imaginative way. Art education builds critical thinking skills that allow students to contribute positively to society in all realms.
